I was just wondering how imperative the caffeine tablets are to Lonnie Lowery’s fat loss method (45-60 minutes of incline treadmill walking first thing in the morning with MAG-10 and 100mg caffeine). I don’t handle caffeine tablets very well, although I can handle coffee. However, coffee=carbs so is that defeating the purpose of the fasted cardio altogether?

Unless you’re adding sugar to the coffee, there aren’t carbs in black coffee. Caffeine acts to help kick start/ boost lipolysis and move fatty acids into the blood stream to be used. Caffeine also improves endurance performance, so you can keep the intensity up longer.
