Dr. John's Chili Question

Hello All,

Has anyone tried making this from the Gourmet Nutrition Book? It calls for cashew meal, but it doesn’t say how much to use. Has anyone played around with this at all? I’m worried about using too much and then throwing off the macro nutrient profile of the meal. Your thoughts?


Can’t you just make cashew meal by grinding a bunch of natural cashews in a food processor.

Just weigh them before you grind them up and you should have a good idea of the nutrient breakdown.
