"Double Red" Blood Donation Help w/ Viscosity?

I have read the benefits of donating blood while on TRT, specifically the “thinning out” of the blood’s viscosity. Every time I go to give blood they ask me to consider doing a “Double Red” donation where the red blood cells are taken out and the plasma, platelets and some saline are put back in.

My question is: will doing a double red blood donation have the same positive effects on my blood viscosity that a normal whole blood donation does?

They [TrT Docs] told me that I needed to donate blood every 60 days and to be sure to donate complete whole blood to keep it a bit thinner for the exact same reason.
