Double Progression and Isolation


CT you said once in one of my questions that you do not prescribe the double progression method with reps above 8.

My question is when I do my isolation lifts then, should I keep them at 8 reps?

But if I want to go above 8 reps on isolation lifts, what method would you use other than double progression or rest pause?

Would it be something like 3 sets of max reps to a goal of say 40 total reps of the 3 sets added up, and not a specific repetition range per set?
