I am thinking about doing the 5/3/1 workout but I thought about doing 2 lift per day such as squats and bench, then doing a crossfit workout after. So I would be doing the 5/3/1 twice a week. Thoughts?

This is a terrible, terrible idea for so, so, so many reasons. I think you need to refamiliarise yourself with what 531 really is. I believe it’s a very popular choice in the Crossfit community for the strength gains you wouldn’t get with Crossfit, but only when programmed intelligently. This is very, very definitely not it.
Throw in some yoga and you’re all set to go!
Doing two main lifts a day can be done.
Doing a crossfit WOD after them can be done.
Training four days a week can be done.
Doubling the speed of progression = Doing each main lift twice a week AS A MAIN LIFT is a dangerous and stupid idea unless you pussyfoot around.
If, however, you mean you want to train twice a week total and make it
… Then yeah, that would probably work.
