"Don't Diet" diet for females

Im wondering what modifications need to be made in the caloric requirements for a female doing the ‘dont diet’ plan. A friend of mine is getting ready for a show and she is 6 weeks out and is going to start dieting now. Believe me this is all she needs as her abs are just ripped to hell. Are the calorie equations and the ‘subtract 25%’ still applicable? TIA
