No pain this morning but my ankle and foot are on fire. Not to the touch but they feel hot from the inside. The shin is swollen, so I will guess it is nerve pain.

Lying biceps curls 20lb db 3x6/ EZ bar biceps curls 40lb 3x8

more time with my foot in the ice bucket and more advil at bed time

The ankle and foot are better, maybe it is all the advil working.

Day 2, cycle 12, week 7

10 minutes to warm up on the bike, as fast as the bad leg can go, so not very fast

Deadlift 95lb 5x10 / single leg leg press 5x10
Sit fit crunch 3x15 / funky leg raises 3x15 /calf raises 3x15 120lb

Still sore below the knee. I feel like most of the work is on the joint not the muscles. I could put more weight but I work on staying very straight and not compensate with the good leg

#225

Maybe go a bit slower, not putting to much effort on the bad leg, speed will come.

Tomorrow I meet the new surgeon. I hope he can help me because I am falling apart mentally.

#228

Super short but very informative meet with the surgeon. He can’t help me as want need to do his out league.

But 30 seconds and he saw the problem. The screws are too large for my bone and I need a cartilage graft. So if I life too much I could shatter the bone.
That can explain a lot.

I so want to walk over to the hospital and beat the SOB.
now to find someone who can fix that mess.

#229

Beat his ass!

A friend had a knee replacement she didn’t need, and he broke her tibia. He lost his license but the damage is done.

So sorry to hear this!

#230

Hang in there mama! I see you didn’t get the news you were hoping for from the new surgeon. But, at least you have answers.

:sunflower:

#231

That sucks! Sorry to hear that, but at least you know the problem (as stated above). I hope you can find someone to fix it - - and it’d be better if they did it for free.

#232

Free, here in Quebec mean 6 to 9 months to find a surgeon then an other 3 to 6 for the surgery. My patience is not that long.
I am waiting for a response from an other super specialist knee trauma surgeon.

#233

Day 2, week 8, cycle 13

10 minutes to warm up on the bike, as fast as the bad leg can go, so not very fast

Squats with heels on plates 5x6 15 lb db still very hard to not lean on the good leg

Deadlift 95lb x10 + 115lb 4x10/ lunges bw 6 per leg + 10lb db 4x6 per leg
Sit fit crunch 3x20 / funky leg raises 3x15 /calf raises 3x15 120lb

#234

Got an appointment Monday afternoon with a new surgeon! Hope this one can fix the mess.
Day off today, my ankle is sore AF. I did go for a 40 minutes walk with my dog before work this morning.

#235

Hey, sorry I haven’t posted on here in awhile. I hope they fix you up. I’m able to lift and take houndies to the park. Of course when it’s cool because it’s mtf hot outside and my precious fur babies have tender footsies:hugs:. I see my dr once a week to make sure I’m okie dokie. I have a standing appointment  might as well move in…I’m so fortunate to live where there are an abundance of specialists nearby. I’ve been doing well so I’ve really been allowed to do more because my old ticker is behaving itself (edit.i just have to be MORE aware of things that can prolong qt and NOT take it) and I got a new stove/oven since I didn’t have to have a pacemaker/defib combo put in. My hubby is the best! Take care of yourself so you can live to fight another day :hugs:.

#236

here in QC most specialist are in the public/free system so the wait time for non urgent stuff can be over a year. Finding the private one can be hard.

#237

Omg :astonished: Id be ten feet under.

#238

That is really awful, I cant believe a doctor made such a huge mistake! Hope the new guy fixes you up and you can back to really rehabbing!

#239

Damn girl.
Hope you’ll find someone that can fix you quickly.
