Godsmack I…Train alooooone
I actually met my colombian princess in our universities gym and we lifted together for around 6 months before we started dating. we have been together for almost three years now and shes been my lift partner the entire time. She does basically every lift that i do with exception to a few things like olympic clean and jerk and olympic snatch and push press. besides that shes there with me every step of the way.

That used to be true in my experience. A few years ago I’d spot and watch my wife train in our home gym. She always wore tight little tank tops and short shorts. She’d often catch me staring when I should have been spotting her.
The wife and I get up 4 days a week in the morning at 4:30 I go to the garage and she goes and does Crossfit. I tried to train her but she doesnt listen and will not be pushed. She is competitive so the Crossfit has done wonders better than the old treadmill and aerobics BS.
My GF is a former professional dancer. Currently, she works as a personal trainer and Pilates instructor, as well as teaching fitness classes and finishing her doctorate. She works out more than I do, and values working out as much for it’s mental and emotional benefits as it’s physical ones.

For some reason, I always end up nailing girls that do yoga - not that I’m complaining. I think it’s gotten pretty trendy for hot chicks in DC to do Yoga or Pilates. There’s like a studio on every corner now.[/quote]
Damnt angry chicken! Everything you write makes me want to meet you and take notes. Teach me the ways, man!
On topic: My ex-gf went to the gym maybe 10 times with me. She would spend time on the treadmill and then come bother me while lifting. That was annoying. The current gf likes to go on runs with her dogs, but I have never been running with her. I have tried to pick up a few gym chicks, one being an olympic bound girl, but she moved away to go train at the Olympic Training Facility…
I’ve been training my gf for about 2 months now, she is not too motivated about the whole thing but pushes through. Main motivation for her to train are her “sooo fat, ugh” 115 lbs. What makes me proud tho is that she constantly progresses on her main lifts, from broomstick squats to 45lbs 5x5 with literally perfect form at parralell. I consider that somewhat decent strength, considering that she’s done nothing before but ballet and dancing.
My current gf is the same way my -ex was: minimal exercise of any sort, fairly horrendous diet, amazing genetics that override all.
If we have a baby together, he/she should def select those exact genes of hers.
I wish.
I’m currently taking offers though.
I’m single, so yeah, me and my right hand do pretty much all our training together.
My ex was lazy and video game addicted. The next guy I get involved with has to either train or at least get into some sport.
So I don’t have an SO, but I started taking my kid to oly lifting with me 2 months back, and it clicked for her. She is able to front and back squat 100lbs, clean & jerk the same and snatch 65lbs now. She’s getting all badass, dropping the bar after dead lifts, shrugging it off her back after the last squat rep, I’m proud as hell!
My wife trains when I “make her”, she likes to lift but isn’t motivated to do it on her own most of the time.

My new gf, well I should say my current gf of 5 months trains. I fucking love it too. This is only the second gf that works out with me! Sheâ??s amazing. I had to quit my old gym and join, ugh, an la shitness, but thatâ??s besides the point, she joined up with me. Anywho, we pretty much live together now and I got her on a good workout plan.
Girls that workout are fucking awesome. I tell my gf all the time now, sheâ??s the fucking sexiest girl there is and now that she works out, sheâ??s twice as sexy as hard as that could be.

And yet she still keeps you on a leash…
my wife does the at home in front of a tv stuff, more cuz we have 2 kids, shes not lazy, but never liked to lift. i dont really care though, she is really healthy when it comes to diet, and i think 105 lbs at 5 ft 4 is pretty damn good after 2 kids. it doesnt hurt that she is an ex gymnast and has maintained most of her lean muscle just by being generally active. i personally dont give a shit that she doesnt lift.
My partner follows exactly the same training I do. Actually, putting up exactly the same weights. Never says a word during training, just pure focus. I just hope for purposes of this thread, my right hand counts.

I knew that would get somebody. Nah, in all seriousness my wife is a runner. Probably better that way. I think we would drive each other nuts if we talked lifting all day
