Does Weight Training Increases Pain Tolerance?

It surely did hurt afterwards?

Only for like 10 seconds after impact, after that it only aches a bit and was cold. I told my friends that it probably cracked the nail only and they should just take me home. Didn’t realize how bad it was.

I must say- Lifting really helps dull pain

Last tuesday, I did a deadlift workout after high volume squats. I was so out of it that I dropped a barbell on my bare foot and barely felt it. I then proceeded to stub my toe- still didn’t flinch

a lot of the time, injuries like this are accompanied by overwhelming adrenaline, so the initial pain is not really so bad. I’ve had quite a few injuries that were like this. When I tore my pec earlier this year, I essentially felt no pain initially. I knew I was fucked, but no pain.
