I have been mixing my whey protein with pure dextrose sugar, but I have noticed that a lot of people mix there shakes with dextrosa and maltodextrin. Why is it good to mix? Andwhat added benefits does Malto have over dextrose? Is it because Malto is considered a complex carbohydrate, and will take longer to digest? What benefits would one see from adding malto to post workout shake? thank you guys for any input you have.
