Does a Higher Weekly Dose Actually Help Maintain Sperm?

I’m trying to decide whether to stick with 100 mg a week or up to 200mg. I’ve gone to two urologists and one absolutely insists on 100mg while the other insists on 200.

The one who insists on 100mg says he is doing so to prevent the testicles from completely shrinking and increase the chance to maintain some sperm production. However, looking at articles like this: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/12185103/

It seems to state that HIGHER weekly doses lead to less sperm suppression.

So it seems like if you go on TRT, you might as well go big? Or am I misunderstanding?

So what you doctor wants to do is create a condition where testosterone levels are suboptimal all to remain fertile, symptom relief is the goal here no?

Go optimal or go suboptimal and not feel amazing. You want to revisit having kids, use HCG and FSH injections. We don’t know what high testosterone is for you, it’s all relative.

Everyone here has told you 100mg is not enough and I seriously doubt it will produce higher levels than you have naturally, so you’ll be no better off than you are now.
