# Do the Math: How Much Did You Lift Yesterday?

I added it up and was surprised to find I’d lifted 10,000 pounds just on the deadlift. And I’m not even close to huge yet. I bet some of you lift 20,000 to 30,000+ on a good workout. So what’s your total?

DL: 220x10, 320x10, 375x5, 375x5, 410x1, 410x1, 410x1 = 10380

I’m about 20k - 30k per workout, but I’m not huge either.

Are we including tonnage on warm up sets (below 60% or so) and accessory work?

My last pressing workout was 6640 lbs without including warm ups or accessory work.
Last deadlift workout was 7695 lbs, not including warm ups.

Assistance deadlift work, not including the max effort work beforehand:

18,360lbs

I never go above 6 reps on deadlifting but looking at those numbers I’ll have to rethink it.
I do (in kg): 1406, 1504, 1603, 1702, 1702, 1801 which amounts to just over 6000lb. I do high volume on stiff legged deadlift because good mornings really hurt my neck. So overall it will be over 10000lb but for deadlift alone I just go as heavy as I can.
