DL Assistant Lifts

Anyway, I cant even attempt that much weight right now (going for 405 by the end of the year) so youre definitely stronger than me.

Whats worked for me was lotsa rack pulls from various heights as well as dumbell straight leg deads for high reps. 10-15.

So you’re definitely strong to get that kind of weight off the ground. Although maybe the thread title is what you meant - deadlift assistant lifts.

So what kind of training does your spotter/assistant need to do to improve the lift? Might be faster/easier to round up another spotter. Your current spotter could also work on high rack pulls, since it is 3" above your knees that is both of your sticking points.

Get bigger traps to help with lock out.
