DL and Snatch DL From a Platform

Any one else do these? I just started and I love them. Awesome variation. More ROM = more TUT = more muscle. Does any one have any idea how much more weight I’ll be able to do when I go back to DL’s from the ground?

DL PR 1/12: 365
Snatch Grip DL 4 inch podium 2/16: 352
DL off 4 inch podium 3/2: 396
DL PR 3/25: ???

You need to talk to pushharder who posts here. He’s LOVES them.

Depends where your deadlift was weak. If it was weak above the knees it might have done very little.

If you could not move off the floor, well it could be good.

generally if I can get it off the floor I’m good the rest of the way. I’ll post the results after I max out.

Less load = less mechnical loading per rep = less muscle

Its a good lift though, but no better than many others ie deadlifts, for adding muscle
