Dip Substitutes?

Close grip decline bench is a great if not better alternative in my opinion.

Am i the only one who cannot feel chest during dips??

I can do dips for reps while straight or leaning with 30kg (70lbs or so) but never feel it in the chest, and whenever i load the weight on i just feel it in the elbows and shoulders…

You are likely hunching forward instead of bending forward at the waist. Chest should still be out and shoulders back and down, but bend forward at the waist. That would be the form for emphasis of chest during dips. Straight up posture for tris.

Hitting dips on a setup with wide bars are also helpful for focus on the chest. The super narrow bars are quite a bit harder to hit the chest on.
