Digestion Rate of Meats vs. Powder


Just out of curiousity, what does the digestion rate of meats compare to that of casein? I tend to alternate between casein powder (which I'm awaiting a refill on), and perhaps eating a chicken breast a bit before bed. Also, yes, I'm well aware of the casein content of cottage cheese. I tend to eat that during the day. Cheers.



An important point. Although I have no data on solids, you'd have to expect that they'd have a similar digestion/absorption response to casein (if not longer).
It's just far more convenient to drink something before bed.
