Different Rep Schemes for Different Movements?


Just for curiosity. Have you done different rep/set layouts with different movements? How have you done this? Did you like it?

For example: fsl multiple sets for press, frequency for squat (one day with 5/3/1 and other with deload weights), optimal heavy work with dl etc...




Definitely! I’ve been using different protocols for different main lifts for a long time now. Just as an example, right now I’m using “Advanced” for my deadlift and “Beyond” for my squat. It suits my needs.
