Just a question that may seem like common sense to some of you, but it’s coming from someone fairly inexperienced. I’m on my first cut cycle and trying to find my abs (I’ve never seen them before) and was wondering if I should back off on the intensity of my workouts since my caloric intake is lower, or go balls-out like I was doing when bulking. I was just wondering this because I heard heavy negatives are good at causing muscle damage, and it seems like it would be hard to repair this damage under low calories, thus leading to a lot of muscle loss. (6’1" 185lbs, 14% - using MD6, 2300 kCal)
Keep your intensity high. You need to especially use heavy loads because the release of GH will preserve muscle.
