I just got a newsletter in my email about new research. One of them was about protein and the kidneys. heres the link

At least we have a study to quote, now.

Those in the highest category of protein intake “were 3.5 times more likely to have a significant decline in kidney function”

Anyone else think that statement was contradictory too?

If you know what your kidneys do for you, it’s kind of like saying if you have high blood pressure, eating spoonfuls of salt can damage your heart. Or how about drinking too much water can overwork an ailing bladder. Hmm… I could go on all day. Sounds like some good science. I’d rather they spend the money investigating why they use the squat rack in my gym to store the swiss balls.
