A 500 test level isn’t bad considering, and ill bet it climbs up a bit in a few months when your hormones start to balance out.
Much appreciated, you’re right I definitely have no idea what I’m doing. I’d rather not put anything else in me, I just wasn’t sure if it had been long enough that my body should have recovered naturally by now.
Did bloodwork again, now 7 months after ending cycle, test is at 285, free test is at 11.8, and estradiol is at less than 5.0. Don’t know too much about what should be at what but 285 and 11.8 seem pretty low based on the scales. Not sure what my next steps should be

I only took an ai for that one day before yogi told me to stop everything. Since the cycle ended in august I havent done anything
It might be time to run a SERM and see if you can get yourself back to a healthier range. I’m genuinely sorry to see someone in this condition. There are a lot of very solid guys on here and they’ll have a better idea of what you could try to do to get back to normal. Some guys have had good luck with either Clomid or HCG mono-therapy, but I don’t want to comment about those any further. I simply don’t know enough to speak intelligently about those particular treatments.

yea, there’s a good chance. shit happen man. that’s why we consistently tell people on these boards to be VERY aware of the possible consequences of just 1 steroid cycle. Everyone thinks ‘yea but it won’t happen to me’. But, it might.
I’d say 50/50 shot of getting back to a pretty normal hormonal profile. You’re going to have to use a SERM, as yuppie suggested. But instead of going the black market route, do it through a KNOWLEDGEABLE doctor. A specialist. Find someone who is very familiar with HTPA restart/therapy, tell them you want to avoid TRT and want to explore other options. If you tell a dr that and they think you’re an idiot, or tell you that’s not an option, find another dr.
Good to know, thank you, got a bit discouraged when I told my pcp about the issues, he would only order a total test and a total estrogen test then told me I was fine and it was in my head. Had to order my own blood work. I guess I’ll go back with these results and see if he can get me pointed in the right direction

Doctors have a duty to care for you. So if you tell your doc that you’re in this position because you did something you weren’t supposed to do they still have a responsibility to treat you. Flip is right about getting this done through a doctor rather than the black market. This may be your one shot to get back to normal and you do not want to rely on non-medical sources for that. Seek out an endocrinologist, tell them everything, and make sure that you’re clear about wanting to avoid having to go on TRT. A good endo will work with you and try to get you back to normal with a SERM mono-therapy if that is your preferred way. If you just go in and talk about having low t they’ll probably jump right to TRT. So be clear about what you want them to help you with. Best of luck to you.
