Someone who has tight control over their blood glucose and who really know how to use their insulin can use almost any diet plan and exercise program. I would suggest reading up on how insulin works and start slow on any plan and rigoursly monitor blood glucose. Also, primarily take in carbs after a workout becasue their are non-insulin mediated pathways to deliver nutrients into the muscle.
