Depth on Dips

How should one typically go on dips? I’ve always heard that it’s not necessary for the upper arm to go below parallel, but it feels like it hits my chest better when I go deeper (my full ROM is probably 10-15 degrees below parallel).

Any thoughts?

if you have no shoulder problems and it causes no pain (under control), then it will probably be ok.

I still prefer for people not to let their elbow go above shoulder height. it will be more of an individual thing though.
