I've thrown in a lot rear delt work lately, but I suspect I have imbalance issues. How does one diagnose this, and would being able to feel bone in the back / top of the shoulder and not in the front be a sign or is that just the way the shoulder is built? (feeling the back of my delts I'm rubbing bone, front is fairly packed).

I'm talking about the actual deltoid/shoulder muscle, when I touch the front delt I feel muscle, when I touch my rear delt there seems to be mostly bone. Is this normal or due to a lack of rear delt development?
