Deloading Week?

Could you perform a deloading week where you perform nothing but bodyweight exercises and cardio? Would this have the same effect as a normal deload week?

Also, what are the nutritional guidelines for deload weeks? Do you increase your calories to take advantage of super compensation? If performing a week of cardio and bodyweight exercises like I mentioned above could you eat a caloric deficit to use that week to lose a little fat or would that defeat the purpose of the deload?
