Define 'Health'

Hello, recently we got this assignment for P.E to make a short text regarding the concept of health…

I won’t go in to detail about what is supposed to be written and just ask you the question up front.
What is health to you?

(Ignore below, if you wish)
It can be anything really, I heard a guy in my class saying that “To me, music is health.” So give me something to work with.
Yes you might be quoted.
I’d rather ask gymrats as myself than quoting our school books. Words that my teacher has probably read a couple of hundred times already considering that this assignment is a reoccuring one for all of his new classes.

Anyway, it seems like I’m putting to much information here. I don’t want to distract you.
(Stop ignoring here)

You may be quoted!

What is health is an interesting question you see for me being in shape is a double body weight squat, 1.5 bench, and double body dl. But to be in shape to the regular person is the ability to run a mile or more with out getting totally winded.

Now neither of these answer the question of what is health because a powerlifter that never runs could have a healthier heart than the runner. But then again the only true test of health is as schultzie above me said, functioning systems.

Add to the good functioning systems a happy, content non-depressed mind set and you have health. I would say that and being in shape to live the life you want is the best answer that I can give.

The ability to “get up” after…ahem… Reaching your happy place
