Deficit Deadlifts and Sumo

I deadlift sumo but have recently been encorporating conventional deficit deadlifts in my training. Does the conventional deficit deadlift have ANY caryover to sumo? I’ve only started doing deficits because I’m weak off the floor.

I like to train sumo and conv. When you don’t have muscle imbalances it has to make you stronger. Deficits helped my entire pull Immensely

Yes, it has plenty of carryover.

just look up dan green. He does stiff leg, deficit conventional pulls a LOT, and has an insane sumo competition pull. So I would say yes, great carryover

Sweet good to know that I’m on the right track, cheers guys
