In the dynamic work variation. I want to do the 5x2 deadlifts from a deficit of 1 to 3 inches. Would it be a good idea to lower the percentage from 70 to 60? Thanks Jim hope all is well
Nope. I do all of my warm up sets and first two working sets from a 2 plate deficit. First two working sets are more challenging, but it makes the top set that much easier.
Use the % from the book - only base % on the EXACT exercise. If you don't know it, don't do it.
