So someone is writing the web address for my band on dollar bills and i wanted to see if I will somehow get in trouble for it. I mean if I didnt do it and didn’t tell them to. am i somehow liable?

I’m pretty sure it’s not. One time I was watching some religious nut on public access and his whole damn show seemed to be about crossing out “In God we trust” on the dollar bill. He said it was perfectly legal. I’ve also seen some kind of website on the dollar bills that you enter in their serial number and you can see the location of others who have done the same.
Yeah…I don’t think it is illegal to write on money. It’s illegal to deface it, as in obscuring the value of the mark or cutting it up so that it can’t be redistributed.
I think it is illegal to write on money but I would not worry about it.

i mean that is bad right? can i get in trouble for someone writing something that can be traced to me? i mean the bill isnt disfigured. just has pen written in the margin around the edge of the bill.
i mean if it wasn’t me then i’m fine i guess. but what if there are tens of thouands of them?
