Should beginner’s start out doing deep squats or build up strength with going down to parallel or a little deeper? I want to train using deep “rock bottom” squats but am not sure what the best approach to getting there is. I appreciate your advice.
Start out with deep squats. Always go below parallel at the least. Use lighter weights and pyramid upwards.
Definitly go rock bottom!! BUT, you MUST perfect your form before you start adding the weight! If not- you’ll surely get hurt. Oh, don’t forget to warm up thoroughly. Good luck!
