Dealing with Crippling Lower Back Pump

I wear my jock strap when I visit T-Nation

You two are quite amusing.

As I said I’ve read McGill’s stuff (well not all of it but a bunch of it) and I do actually have a sport science degree.

I was mostly curious what other people do with this. As it stands I’m just working on increasing the flexibiliy and for ab work I primarily used to do Pull Down abs but at my current gym I can’t make that work. So hanging leg raises, rockers, ab wheel potentially that sort of thing.

I have this issue too. Maybe try some fascia release stuff. Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet. I injured the fascia tissue that sits on my lower back, and it’s always irritated rather quickly

Was this diagnosed by someone or is it an educated guess?

My family doctor? Can I ask why you care?

Go see an osteopath

“I hurt my fascia!” might sound crazy, but nowadays they are calling the connective tissue in the lower back thoracolumbar fascia.

I’ll see what I can do. Still, it’s better than going on with the issue completely unsolved. At least I’ve done my best to try and mitigate it. Even if I do go to sports medicine doctor, and it turns out to be the same issue, why do you care so much? I wasn’t even really talking to you.

can you leave me alone dude? You’re persistent in irritating me.

Well I tried some rockers when the CLBP hit yesterday and that didn’t do much to help but hey a little ab work isn’t bad. Then I hit the captains chair for some knee ups and (I’m assuming due to the decompression) that did help a lot. So I may just need to start throwing in a set of those every time I feel the CLBP coming on, along with continuing to strengthen the abs and stretch the hip flexors.

Tbh I just lay down right beside the bar, drape my legs over it and have a nap

Well that was a reply to OP but I think you should too

Maybe a psychologist also

I didn’t realize that. Maybe you could’ve specified that or whatever. But you honestly cant blame me, after you were asking gross questions about my ass on my log, and I think you mean psychiatrist/therapist, which I think is who you need to see, considering you think that’s okay for you to ask to someone who doesn’t know you. Instead of saying “hi”, or “hello”.

I’m sorry. I thought this was a public forum.

Its a public forum.

True. I’m just wondering why you care. In particular about my comment. This can be a public whatever the fuck, I was still suggesting stuff to Sturat, even then just as you can question me, I can ask why you care so much to even do so.

So why do you care so much about Sturat? Did he directly ask you a question? How do you justify your actions?

Wait wait wait… there are people who don’t care about me?
