Ed’s numbers (sumo to conventional ratio) actually weren’t that different. His best conventional in competition was 887, I believe, and of course, his other-worldly 901 sumo.

regular deadlifts buid more muscle . . sumo is leverage . ed coan amazing as he was could never pull 900 conventional . his 901 was sumo . i prefer regular deads . but its old school …maybe
