Not to be a jerk, but Ed Coan deadlifted more weight with sumo than you’ll probably ever dream of pulling.

Ed’s numbers (sumo to conventional ratio) actually weren’t that different. His best conventional in competition was 887, I believe, and of course, his other-worldly 901 sumo.
regular deadlifts buid more muscle . . sumo is leverage . ed coan amazing as he was could never pull 900 conventional . his 901 was sumo . i prefer regular deads . but its old school …maybe
