Deadlift Replacement

I’m going back to college (for the first time in a year) next week. The problem is that while I was out of school I really started started working out and developed an affection for Deadlifts. But, the college gym doesn’t have a platform and won’t let me do them :frowning: So now I’m looking for a replacement exercise. I’ve got Bulgarian deads and DBell Deads, but those aren’t really the same as a regular deadlift. Any suggestions?

If you’ve got a power rack you can do rack pulls. Do them off a box, and you can get the same ROM. Also, lots of RDL’s and good mornings will help build the PC.

Heavy GM’s will aid the DL as well.

Oh and he GM’s do them from a dead stop on the pins or chain suspended iot will really mimic the move and musculature of the DL starting from a dead stop.

Cool, thanks guys. We do have a power rack and I think ill try the rack pulls.
