DB Row Form Check

Hey guys, I’ve been progressing pretty well with DB Rows lately (still weak in general but for me it’s been good). Form has definitely gotten slightly worse but I’ve added about 20lb. per side for 12 reps or so.

Anyway I’m just looking for a form critique. Compared to kroc rows I’ve seen I don’t think it’s too bad at all but just in case I’m missing something or if there would be a better way to go about it.

Thanks

There is no need to smack the dumbbell with your chest at the top of each rep. lol

I personally like to use less body-English, though I think the amount you used on the 7x90 is still within an acceptable range. Other than that it looks good.

Fair bit of body english, but that’s often how it is with kroc rows. Looks fine to me

really hes using alot of body english? Can somebody give link to a video with less “body english” please

Man get even crazier on your kroc rows. You need to be faster, and you need to cheat more. Screaming would probably help too.

Looks pretty good to me. DB rows are awesome.

Definitely better than most of the people I see at the gym slingin around weight thats way to heavy for them.

Looks fine. Get to the 150’s with that form and hopefully you’ll have put on some width and thickness.

Yeah, like this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7jAIdoORxI

Oh wait.

I love the flying plate off the end of the DB at the 1:00 mark; would make for an efficient drop set.

Thanks guys. As mentioned there is a little bit of body english but as was also mentioned, typical kroc rows use significantly more momentum and less ROM. These were meant to just be normal DB rows but I guess it doesn’t matter either way. Looks like I’m good then.

yeah, that’s not a lot of body english.

Using heavy weights, you’re gonna have to move like the OP did.
