Holy crap I just saw you were doing 405 for your speed deads. That is freaking heavy from a deficit. I’m truly enjoying having you a week ahead of me to set the score - that’s a keeper. I have never been a good “just be better than yesterday” dude

Honestly it feels better than I initially thought it would in my head. Especially once I’m about sets 2 and 3. My first set is almost like my body is surprised that I’m asking it to lift something so heavy and then that next set is awesome. It’s almost like set 1 is still a warm up set.

I’m glad that the restart of block 2 is helping! I’m enjoying the uncharted territory nature of all this and just seeing what I’m made of

Really productive back day today. Everything up to the deficit deads only took 30 minutes so I was really flying through it and enjoying myself. A little surprising considering I’m a little beat up today after a 3 hour Jiu Jitsu seminar, including a rejamming of my already injured left index finger and really gnarly mat burn on the top of my foot. But I actually felt tremendous during the session. Seeing the progress in the logbook really brings such joy to my heart.

Nice and fast speed Bench and shoulder session. Got the whole thing done in about half an hour. A rear delt pump is one of the most satisfying feelings in the world.

Back in Oklahoma. Had to get my bearings with an arm day. My gym has a chest press machine now! Super excited to try that out in a few days! Not much to say about this, just a great arm pump before a family function.

Arm pumps before anything where I’m seeing people I know are essential haha! It makes every shirt look better.

I’m a little behind on updating my log, but I’ve started Block 3 of Program X by John Meadows this week. Feeling hyped. Back in my regular gym and back to training with my brother!

Great back day today. Really appreciate the rack pull shrugs. I liked these a lot better than deficit deads, especially with the fact I’m still dealing with extreme hamstring and leg soreness from Sunday’s leg day. I also enjoyed getting to do Pulldowns on an actual Pulldown Machine rather than a pulley rigged up to the bench! Making the most of this time.

Speed Bench session was lightning quick. Brutalized my rear delts and set an all time Dumbbell Press PR with the 100s today!
