Any thoughts on it? I’ve always enjoyed reading the old school guys’ stories of yesteryear.

It’s pretty much an autobiography. You can tell it’s Dave’s words if you are familiar with his articles and get his emails. The book reads like you’re just sitting around with him (which I like).

I wish more of the Golden age dudes would talk more about their steroid use. I know Dave has stated he regretted ever using steroids in the past. Is this subject covered in the book?

Not your specific question, but Kaz will talk about it at seminars.

I’ve been too busy to read that much of it, just a few pages here and there. I’ll update when I get a chance.

I have a decent collection of old books by Coe, Pearl, Mentzer (not his HEavy Duty ones, I found a different one on some obscure used book site), even some really old ones “by Weider” that mention usage. They’re not how-to’s or anything like the old columns Palumbo used to pen for MD magazine in the early 2000’s, but it’s interesting in hindsight that they acknowledge their usage in their progress.
