I have been following Sr. Darden’s HIT principles of emphasis on negatives, including 30-10-30, etc. He also reduces the number of workouts per week. You are an advocates of frequent training days, ie. “Best Damn Workout…” one and two. Please comment.
If I remember right, Best Damn for Natty series is more frequent but with much less volume. So they are pretty much 2 sides of the same coin.
Zep is correct. You can use a higher overall frequency, but this means lowering daily volume. Darden use whole-body workouts and the “Best Damn…” series split the body in two but the overall volume is similar.
At the moment I lift every other day (so 3 - 4 days a week) with a low volume approach so I don’t always use the same system.
