The shear power of this $400 dollar is mesmerizing. I’m sure some of you have seen it.
I was thinking…sometimes I just feel like eating food is too laborious. For me I can accept the mentality that food is only fuel or potentially new biomass for me. As long as it doesn’t taste bad, I’m fine.
With a blender like that, I’m thinking about just switching to a liquid diet. I’d eat all the normal meals I eat now, but I’d save a whole lotta time and get in a whole lot more calories during the day if I prepared my meals in advance, blended those meals into a smoothie, and had each meal of the day laid out in a suitably sized liquid container. When mealtime came around I could just then smoothie bong each meal with a beer funnel and be on my merry way.
Would that be totally socially unacceptable? What would you think of someone like that? How much worse is it if I’m taking most of my food from a college cafeteria and carrying it away in a backpack stuffed with tupper wear?
I read “beer funnel” as “beef funnel”, and it made me giggle.
Aside from that, it sounds perfectly repulsive, unhealthy and guaranteed to make your breath stink bad enough to kill vultures on the wing.
Do it.
I’d talk to some people who have been forced to be on a liquid diet (broken jaw wired shut, for example) to find out what the side-effects are. (I’m thinking runny baby-poops might be one of them.) I betcha this is not good for your digestive tract as a long-term strategy.
That blender is awesome, I susbcribed to his youtube channel a while back. Funy stuff.
The blender has a “soup” setting that cooks as it purees, that would make for some interesting meat/veggie soups.
Why would a liquid diet give you the runs? In theory, if you are chewing your food properly it should be liquified by the time it hits your stomach.
Yeeea…no. I kind of enjoy eating.
That is the sickest blender ever.

I don’t know the reason, but when my kids were toddlers and I ran everything through the blender, their poops weren’t exactly firm. (Of course, they were not getting things like chicken breasts or steaks.)

I would never eat an all liquid diet, so it’s a moot point. I wouldn’t blend meat.
I do like fruit/veggie smoothies, I just had a broccoli, pineaple, peach, pear, bitter greens blend.
