Dangerous to Cook With Flavored Whey?

Someone told me that cooking meals such as muffins, pancakes,… with flavored protein might cause some chemical reaction that could be harmful? (related to the sweetner use in the process)

What do you guys think?

I read so much recipes that use whey protein for cooking and didnt read any warning about this fact…

I don’t think you have anything to worry about. Applying a common sense test, that would be the same as saying you can’t cook with sweet-n-low or splenda, which is defonitely not the case. I’v e seen loads of recipes with vanilla and chocolate flavored protein powders. In fact, you kinda have to go out of your way to buy unflavored protein anymore. I wouldn’t sweat it. People cook with artificial sweeteners all the timen other foods.
