Daily Sodium Intake

Does anyone have any info on the daily recomendation of sodium in people? It is something that I have not focused on, and I don't know much about!

Salt is certainly necessary in the diet and there are dietary recommendations issued by the government.

However, as usual, if you are healthy and aren’t doing anything terminally stupid you probably don’t have to worry about it all that much.

Of course, there are always folks with medical conditions of some type that have to be more careful…

The current dietary guidelines for sodium are “consume less than 2300 mg per day”. Unless your doctor tells you to avoid sodium, you need not worry very much. If your body is functioning normally, you just dump extra sodium.
