Shugart and Lowery are talking about diet soda in this audio file. It seems like Lowery is saying that in general beyond just dental issues diet sodas are no good because of the artifical sweetener.
My question or thought is do different sweeteners still quantify as bad? Like Splenda/Sucralose vs Aspartame in Diet Rite vs Diet Coke. I was under the impression that Sugar Alcohol didn’t effect you GI wise and it didn’t have other negitive effects that some of the older sweeteners had.
Water is still the best way to go, but how much do diet soda’s really effect our goals?
