I know this is an old thread, but just to add to the body of knowledge in case anyone does a search…
I have to concur with BR. I had reasonably good success dissolving various hormones in Everclear (95% ethanol)…my jurisdiction outlawed that and now the best I can get is 151 proof (75% alcohol)…solubility is markedly poorer.
For example, people talk of oxandolone holding at 20mg/ml in Everclear, but about the best I can get in 151 is 10mg/ml
