Cutting and Lactic Acid Training

I'm doing lactic acid training while cutting but it makes me VERY sore. In a hypercaloric state, wouldn't all this micro trauma without the calories to build it back up lead to muscle loss, or am I missing something?

I would speculate that your ability to recover from lactic acid training would be compromised since you are already in a calorie deficient state. One thing you would need to consider is that you give yourself good amounts of rest as to not develop overtraining. Volume will also be an important factor. As intensity goes up, volume goes down.
