Cut or Bulk? Concerned about Insulin Sensitivity

Hi, I’m 26 years old, 5’10 and 153lbs. I know it sounds silly, but should I focus on cutting body fat? - in order to improve insulin sensitivity for an eventual lean bulk. Thanks! New guy here.

At this point, get cutting, bulking and insulin sensitivity out of your mind. You need to build up the basics first.

Try eating like that for 3 months and do something like 5/3/1 or Westside Barbell for Skinny Bastards. You should see the changes you want.

Neither. Eat healthy at maintenance and begin strength training per T3hPwnisher’s advice. Add lbm and when you have more muscle mass yo can consider cutting. If you cut now you’ll be way too skinny.
