Is continuous tension important for muscle growth?by that i mean for 1 set 5 reps max ,i perform 3 reps pause for 2 mins then perforn 2 reps.
does this interfere with growth or microtrauma as the first 3 reps are too short in tension?as there is a break in tension or the tut not maintained?

You pause for 2 minutes after your first 3 reps, and then complete the last 2 reps? Do I have this right?
