i have been reading up a little on grains and starches and there are many reasons that they are bad, such as that they cant be processed fully. i was wondering what YOU thought about things like white/brown rice, pastas(even whole grain), bread, and oatmeal/cereal? if trying to bulk or spike your insulin PWO wouldnt these be the best thing to ingest?
i remember reading your carb cycling article and you recommended eating white rice with surge recovery immediately after a workout and then sweet potatoes for PWO meal. i was just wondering what you thought about having these items in your diet when it comes to overall health. is the bad stuff overrated? what should i stay away from coming from a health perspective?
