Critique This Routine Please!

After realising im still an intermediate, ( http://www.T-Nation.com/free_online_forum/sports_body_training_performance_bodybuilding/am_i_intermediate_or_advanced ), I’ve decided I still have some growing to do. I do have an interest in strongman as well as bodybuilding and would like to incorporate a couple of the event lifts into my training.

I followed a routine like this all winter, spring and summer with some good results whilst restricting my diet a bit.

But now i’m gonna go on a full bulk, something I havent done in four years.

So guys tell me your thoughts

Sat(Home Workout)
Dips 5x5
Flyes 2 x10
Dumbell shoulder Press 3 x 8
Decline barbell tri ext 3 x 8

Sunday (Home workout)
Trap Bar Deadlift 5 x 5
Hip ext 2 x 10
Weighted Chins 5 x 5
decline bar pullovers 3 x 8
specific calf routine (to be decided)

Wed
Dumbell Chest Press 3 x 8
Log bar standing press 5 x 5
side lateral raise 2 x 10

Thurs
Squats 3 x 8
bent over rows 5 x 5
Elbow out face pulls with dumbells 3 x 8
rear lateral raise 2 x 10
calf routine

I may throw in some lower rep sets occasionaly to test myself as well.

So what do you think

Anybody??

how long have u been lifting for? to me that routine doesnt have enough volume if your an intermediate lifter. seems like a beginners routine to me. and is your main focus bodybuilding? or do u want to compete in strongman? id say stick to one or the other but thats just me haha maybe train a bodybuilding routine for a couple months then a strongman routine. but i guess that could work. i think u could do better though.

Thanks mate. Appreciate your comments. I did expect a bit more input from other so called T-Men. It seems they’re all to busy arguing over which rep of which set during lateral raises will turn them into Arnold.

May be too many wannabies in here now??

haha, let he who isn’t a wannabe toss the first stone… anyway, the real only way to answer this question is with another. how has this program worked for you? if you’ve progressed and everythings going good, then stick with it.
