Any reason for not having any potatoes, rice, pasta or oats?

I cut all of the things like potatoes, rice, pasta and oats out of my diet for the time being after being extremely sick for awhile and ending up with gut health issues.

So to allow my body to recover I have taken this approach of getting all of my carbs from fiberous fruits and veg, I feel alot healthier from adopting this and yes it has initially hurt my performance but my body is slowly adapting to it and there is still some tweaking to be done to it.

The goal is to eventually re introduce the starchy carbs such as potatoes, rice, pasta and oats, but in the mean time any advice is welcomed
