I want to say thanks for your vertical jump program thats on your site. i have had great success with it so far. although i am not dunking quite yet, i am sure by the end of the summer i will be.
I am currently using your Westside for skinny bastards program as my upper body with an added leg day so i can follow your vertical jump program for another go round. My question is regarding a training split. I try to play ball 2 or 3 times a week which leaves me fatigued for the workouts, i am willing to cut it down to 1 or 2 times a week but i am curious how those playing days should fall into a training split incorporating aspects of your westside workout and the vertical jump program.
currently i am doing a workout every other day so i basically work on a 8 day system. monday upper body max, weds lowerbody vert, friday upper body reps, and sun lower body vert. then i repeat on tuesday.
i play in between there but like i said even on this split either my workouts or the basketball suffers.
what would be your suggestion for a split in corporating 1 or 2 slots for playing ball and 4 for working out?
