Creatine

Does anyone have any feedback on the difference between a monohydrate creatine vs a tri-creatine (di-creatine malate, magnesium creatine chelate, micronized creatine)?

Does one work better than the other? Or is it hype?

Thanks

Hype.

However if you find the monohydrate too hard on your digestive system use di-creatine malate as it digests easily. But you will need about 8 grams of it to achieve the daily dose of 4-5 grams of actual creatine.

I haven’t tried the others. I can say that micronized creatine seems to be the best. I tried others and I got gut aches because of the creatine. However, micronized is like powdered sugar it dissolves really well. I use AST brand. No rhyme of reason to this I just tried it and it worked well for me so I haven’t changed.

I put 5-10 grams in my Surge drink and it has been working great.

That other stuff sounds like hype to me.

Stick with regular ole plain creatine monohydrate. Micronized is best. Dont waste your money or time on the other stuff.

plenty of articles covering this, do a search.
