Anybody use creatine while leaning out for a competition, or is this counterproductive?
I have read many reports on how creatine may help you preserve lean mass while on a diet, One group supplemented with creatine at 5 grams a day and lost no muscle mass, the other used no creatine and lost 5lbs of muscle mass. On the other hand it would increase the amount of water weight so it depends which ciewpoint you believe.
Prisoner, the consensus is that creatine does not interfere with fat loss. It does make it hard to determine how much weight is being lost if you start supplementing with it somewhere in the middle of your cutting cycle. And I really don't know how it would affect the final week where you're depleting and supercompensating.
